Please Allow Me To Introduce Myself…

Well, I’m pretty sure you guessed it by now. I’m Tank and this is my little slice of the interwebs. I like long walks on the beach….wait….wrong site. I meant to say that I am a musician. Music truly is my passion. Even on my day job, I’m working out arrangements, troubleshooting an issue I may have had earlier, thinking of how to market myself better, or even a post on a freelance work site to offer my services.

To date, I have taught private music lessons, assisted with high school band camps, arranged percussion parts for multiple marching bands, and founded Studio 357.

Studio 357 offers many services for the up and coming musician or artist, such as audio recording, production, and mastering. As time progressed, I realized I needed to teach myself more so I would not have to out source so many minimal tasks. I learned online marketing, partnered with an online distributor, and bought a professional camera (Canon Rebel EOS T4). It doesn’t sound like much, but these and a couple more improvements resulted in a thirty percent increase in sales.

I’ve played in upwards of nine groups as either a drummer/percussionist or guitarist. I’ve recorded and been the “sound guy” in all of the groups I have been in. Probablyy because I always had decent recording hardware and software.

I obtained my B.S. degree from Troy University in music technology and a minor in graphic design. I’ve engineered numerous projects for artists all over the world thanks to the internet.

I recently started performing as a solo acoustic act, and I love it. There is no stress or headaches that are normally associated with being in a band. In addition, I’ve been trying to blog on a normal basis which is truly a feat due to my schedule.

Lastly, TANK’S TEES…This is a project of mine that is in its infancy stages. I have no idea what I’m doing, and I’m sure I’ll lose some money before I make any. An e-commerce t-shirt business. Who would have ever guessed that I would start a fashion line, so to say. I’m going to focus on the vintage musician style and market to artists, musicians, and others in similar fields. Like I said, I have no idea what I’m doing yet, but I am having a blast learning.

Well, I hope I haven’t bored you too much, and I’m glad you stopped by. Look around, check out my links, and enjoy.

Much Love & Peace
